Ask me anything
Chris surprised me with an awesome date last Friday. First, he took me to the Seattle Great Wheel. It was amazing, the views of the water and the city was breath-taking!
After that, Chris took me to a well known restaurant in Seattle called Matt’s In The Market. It was definitely the classiest place I’ve ever been to… but that’s not saying much because I usually go to Panera or Chipotle when I go out to eat. The food was absolutely delicious. We started off with a cheese plate which came with, obviously, cheese and some other accompaniments that matched each cheese. After that we shared a grilled octopus appetizer which came with kimchi and some radish salad.

That was omg-mindblowingly delicious. I was skeptical at first because of the kimchi, but it was made perfectly and matched so well with the octopus. Cooked to perfection. For the main course, I got the half roasted chicken and Chris got the new york strip loin. I know, chicken sounds boring. But let me tell you, it was the best fucking chicken I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. It was so good I almost cried. Yeah, that good. Chris’ steak was delicious as well, probably the best steak I’ve ever had.

For dessert, I got the cafe mousse which came with two mini chocolate donuts and Chris got the bread pudding. Both were so delicious, but I feel like I couldn’t enjoy it as much because I was soooo full at that point.

As for drinks, I tried ordering a fucking diet coke, but apparently this place is too sophisticated for regular drinks, so the waiter suggested me a ginger beverage which was delicious. Chris got some IPA which was disgusting, but I hate beer so there’s that. We ordered a bottle of orange wine for the both of us to drink with our main course entrees, and it was ridiculously good. It definitely had a lot of alcohol in it because Chris was getting pretty tipsy after his IPA and wine.

As you can imagine, this was definitely the most expensive dinner I’ve ever had in my life. It probably tops my previous 3 most expensive dinners I’ve ever had combined. To give you an idea, this place had a glass of wine at the price of $860. Obviously that was the move expensive thing on the menu by far, but to actually have something like that on the menu says enough. I wonder if anyone has actually ordered it? Like that’s almost a grand for just a glass. Ridiculous.
Tumblr going to Yahoo could really end up either way. Tumblr could become more awesome and definitely help Yahoo become a big company in the tech industry again. Or it could end up being a total fail on both ends and completely destroy Tumblr.
Let’s hope everything ends up great. I wouldn’t mind working for Yahoo/Tumblr if things work out.
